How you will contribute: 


  • Executing quantitative modeling engagements for financial services clients including model development and/or validation 
  • Developing and maintaining credit, market, and operational risk models to forecast economic variables 
  • Leveraging quantitative skills to develop or validate models that facilitate financial planning and analysis, for loss modeling, and other stress testing applications, including CCAR 
  • Analyzing large data sets using statistical techniques and tools 
  • Manages relationships with client-side project members to facilitate project fulfillment 
  • Providing subject matter expertise related to financial risk management, model development, and/or model validation 
  • Writing model documentation and validation reports aligned to SR 11-07 standards 
  • Exercises independent thinking skills by making decisions related to engagements to include dynamic problem solving, risk assessment, quality control, and data and information evaluation 
  • Promptly brings to the attention of the Senior Manager, Project Manager, or Partner any issues or questions that could potentially result in alterations to the project parameters, costs, or deadlines

Minimum Qualifications: 


  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field 
  • 2 years or more of professional-level project management experience 
  • 6 years or more of financial modeling work experience  


Preferred Qualifications: 


  • A Master’s degree is a more technical area (statistics, mathematics, computer science, economics, engineering, etc.).  
  • Experience with statistical tools and programming languages (examples: SQL, SAS, Python, R, C++, MATLAB)
